È possibile scaricarla da http://releases.ubuntu.com/kinetic/ oppure https://www.ubuntu-it.org/download (si consiglia lo scaricamento tramite torrent).
È possibile anche avanzare alla versione indicata tramite interfaccia grafica: avviare l’applicazione Software e aggiornamenti, andare nella scheda Aggiornamenti e alla voce Notificare nuove versioni di Ubuntu selezionare Per qualsiasi versione se vi interessa avanzare ad ogni nuova versione di Ubuntu, oppure Per le versioni LTS se si vuole solo avanzare di LTS in LTS. Infine, premere la scorciatoia da tastiera ALT+F2 e digitare update-manager -d (avanzamento grafico), o do-release-upgrade -d (avanzamento testuale), e seguire le istruzioni con attenzione. Nota: l’opzione -d (devel) indica di avanzare all’attuale versione di Ubuntu, che sia LTS o meno.

Please be sure to report any bugs you find.” The project’s release announcement also highlights improvements to the Thunar file manager, Mousepad text editor, and the Xfce PulseAudio Plugin.
